How travel and parking show on your quote

We price the job before we arrive, so nothing is added on the day. Anything linked to your location appears as its own line on the written quote.

Parking. If the van needs a visitor permit or a bay suspension, we list the council cost separately.
Access. Scaffolding or a tower for an upper floor outdoor unit is priced at the survey.
Travel. For jobs outside London, any travel cost is shown before you agree, never added later.
Fixed total. You see one total with VAT, confirmed in writing before we book the install.

Local rules that can affect your install

Your council and your building matter more than your county. We check these points at every survey.

Conservation areas

Common across London

Most small units on houses need no planning permission, but conservation areas and listed buildings often do. The government note on air conditioning rules says to check with your council.

Freeholder consent

Most leases need the freeholder or managing agent to agree before an outdoor unit goes on the building. We supply the spec sheets and noise figures they ask for.

Heating grant

England and Wales

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme can take £2,500 off an air-to-air heat pump in England and Wales. Ofgem runs the scheme, and we confirm eligibility at the survey.
