Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

These terms apply when Aircova Ltd (“Aircova”, “we”) supplies and installs air conditioning or air-to-air heat pumps in your home. They sit alongside your written quote. If anything in your quote differs from these terms, the quote applies. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Quotes and prices

  • Every job gets a fixed written price. It includes VAT unless the quote clearly says otherwise.
  • Your quote is valid for the period stated on it. After that we may need to check prices again before we book the work.
  • The price covers the equipment, labour and materials listed on the quote. Anything not listed is not included.

The survey

Before we confirm a price we check your home, either in person or from photos and video you send us. We look at where the indoor and outdoor units will go, the pipe run, the power supply and access. Your quote is based on what we see and what you tell us, so please let us know about anything that could affect the work.

What the price includes

Your quote lists exactly what is included, such as the units, pipework, brackets, trunking, electrical connection, commissioning and handover. If an item is not on the quote, please ask us before you accept so there are no surprises.

Changes found on the day

Sometimes we find something on the day that could not be seen at the survey, such as hidden pipes, unsound walls or wiring that needs work. If that happens, we stop and explain what we found. We will not carry out extra work or charge more unless you agree to the change and the new price first.

Your part

  • Access: give us safe access to the rooms and outside areas where we are working, at the agreed time.
  • Consents: if you rent or own a leasehold flat, get any permission needed from your landlord, freeholder or managing agent before we start.
  • Planning: where planning permission or other approval is needed for your home, get it before the work. We can tell you what to check.
  • Parking: help us find somewhere to park close by. If paid parking is the only option, we will tell you before the day.
  • Clear space: move furniture and valuables away from the work areas where you can.

Payment

We do not offer finance or credit. You pay the fixed price on your written quote in two parts:

  • 50% in advance: paid when you accept the quote, to book your fitting date and order your equipment.
  • 50% on installation: paid during your installation day.

If you cancel within your 14 day cancellation period, we refund your advance payment, less a fair amount for any work done at your request. Your quote shows the exact amounts and how to pay. We will not ask for any payment that is not on your quote or agreed with you in writing.

Your right to cancel

If you agree the contract with us away from our premises, for example in your home, or at a distance by phone, WhatsApp or email, you can cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is made. You do not need to give a reason. To cancel, send us a clear message on WhatsApp.

We will not start work in those 14 days unless you ask us to. For contracts made in your home, that request must be in writing, such as a WhatsApp message or email. If you ask us to start early and then cancel within the 14 days, you pay a fair amount for the work done up to the point you told us. Once the work is fully finished at your request, the right to cancel ends.

These rights come from the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we must carry out the work with reasonable care and skill. If no date is agreed, we must finish it within a reasonable time. If we fall short, we will put it right at no cost to you. If that is not possible, you may be entitled to some or all of your money back.

Warranty and guarantee

  • Manufacturer warranty: we register the equipment with the manufacturer for you after installation. The length and terms of that warranty are set by the manufacturer and shown on your quote.
  • Workmanship guarantee: if a fault is caused by our installation work, such as a pipe joint, bracket, drain or wiring we fitted, we come back and put it right at no cost to you. This is on top of your legal rights.
  • Warranties may need the system to be serviced as the manufacturer advises. We will tell you what is needed.

Our liability

If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable when the contract was made.

We do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. We supply our services for domestic use, so we are not responsible for loss of profit or business loss.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our work, message us on WhatsApp at 07403 664179. Tell us what went wrong and send photos if you can. We will reply and work with you to put it right.

Law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
